We continue to witness the ongoing genocide in Gaza with a profound sense of powerlessness. The prospect of a permanent ceasefire and an end to the 17 year blokkade remains distant, while the humanitarian assistance reaching the region is minimal compared to the enormity of the need. This underscores the urgency of persistently highlighting the situation,mobilizing resources to support aid, and showing solidarity with the population of Gaza, and the Palestinian people more broadly.

On Thursday May 30th, we are organizing a fundraiser dedicated to supporting the victims of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Before and after the music + film programme, we organize a market with various sellers, including Middle East Archive, and a range of local and Palestinian artists.

Through this event, we are amplifying Palestinian culture and life in a time of unfathomable grief and suffering, and so we urge you to be conscious, reflective, and respectful when entering our space.

Tickets cost a minimum of €15, but we ask anyone that can contribute more to donate on a pay-as-you-can principle, you can purchase them now here.

The majority of funds will go to Palestine Red Crescent and Palestine Relief Children’s Fund, who are currently providing emergency aid as well as longer term support in Gaza. A fraction of funds will also be used to support Direct Action groups in the Netherlands. In addition, each ticket sold will also contribute towards e-sims to keep Gazans connected.
