SOUTHEAST HAYES is a DJ and artist from Amsterdam, known for his raw yet soulful sound rooted in Bass, Garage and House music. Growing up in the multicultural South East of Amsterdam, he was surrounded by diverse sounds that shaped his musical identity. Influenced by early internet discoveries of pirate radio recordings like Rinse FM and DejaVu FM, he developed a deep love for underground bass-driven music. In the early 2010s, HAYES emerged as part of the first wave of laptop producers, carving a unique lane in the Dutch music scene. Also the producer behind the acclaimed rap group ZWART LICHT, where his blend of hip-hop and experimental electronic beats defined their sound. With over a decade of musical experience, HAYES has continued to evolve, whether playing intimate clubs or large stages, SOUTHEAST HAYES knows how to move a crowd and keep energy levels high.
